Fake Profiles , Really ?!

Okay guys, about a month or so ago a girl named Amanda Zelma wanted to be my friend on facebook. I didn't recognize the name but we had a decent amount of mutual friends so I accepted it. I never once seen her post a status and she never tried speaking to me. About a week or so ago one of my acquaintances messaged me asking if I know who she is, of course I told her that I do not. Well, I guess this Amanda girl was messaging her telling her that her child (who is only 7 months old) is ugly and that her boyfriend is cheating on her. I don't know if it's just me but I would NEVER bad mouth a poor child, especially on the internet. Amanda Zelma has now contacted more people from my school talking bad about them. It says on her profile that she's from Phoenix Arizona although every single one of her friends is people from my school. Obviously somebody made a fake profile just to say the things they're too scared to say to somebody's face. What I don't understand is the maturity level of some of these people. We're in high school, we'll be out in the real world in just a few years. I think it's time to grow up. Making a fake profile is probably one of the most immature things a person could do. I think if this girl has such a problem with all these people she should just reveal her identity to them and tell them what she thinks. And naturally being a high school girl I'm curious to know WHO is bringing on all this drama and WHO is behind this fake identity.
